When ten sit together and occupy themselves with Torah, the Shechinah (divine presence) abides among them.
“Rabbi Halafta of Kfar Hanania said: When ten sit together and occupy themselves with Torah, the Shechinah (divine presence) abides among them, as it is said: ‘God stands in the congregation of God'” (Psalm 82:1).
Tractate of Avot 3:7
It is important to study and engage in Torah, wisdom, and other spiritual matters—and the effect is even more powerful when carried out collectively. Human contact creates a strong connection with our Creator and brings our hearts closer to the divine presence. The more we learn together, the more we will perceive God’s presence.

Through study we reveal the secrets of life and the universe; scholarship is a never-ending endeavor.
